The company

You will be joining a well-known construction and fit out contractor based in Ireland who are looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin.

The company cover projects including commercial, residential, data centres, healthcare, retail and more.

The position

As the intermediate Quantity Surveyor of this project, you will be expected to report to the Senior Surveyor/Commercial Manager, preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts. Also, valuing completed work and arranging for payments.

Could this role be for you?

Ideally 5+ years’ experience

Understanding the forms of contract used in the construction industry (RIAI, FIDIC, JCT etc.)

Ability to evaluate and identify gaps in documentation and commercial opportunity (contracts, drawings, specs, CVR’s)

Being commercially aware

Happy to travel around Ireland when needed
