Data Centre Day Engineer

The Company
You could become part of the world’s largest telecommunications service provider, supporting a number of high profile clients from a number of state-of-the-art data centre facilities. The role itself will be based at one of the companies newest Data Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

The Position

We are looking for an M&E Engineer to plan, manage and implement the delivery of FM services to the Data Centre ensuring operational performance is maintained at all times to the highest possible standards. This role is on a large and highly technical site and will require someone with strong understanding of switching but also who is physically fit and able to be on the move for the vast majority of your shift.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Data Centre M&E infrastructure needs and requirements
  • Recognised Electrical training – 17th/18th Edition & 2391 Testing & I
  • HV/LV AP course completion (advantageous) with a willingness to develop into a site AP (essential)
